Introduction: No Oven-Turkish Flat Bread

Don’t have an oven? Want some bread that tastes good alone? Want to make something that your are proud of?? Want to make food that is eatable when you are a beginner? Want to make something that tastes better than anything you have ever tasted? If you answers yes to any of these questions the your in luck because I have the answer!! No-Oven Turkish Bread!! This bread is so easy to make and doesn’t take much time at all. So get a cooking hand and make this bread to show it off to all of your friends.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients/Supplies

You wont need much ingredients only a few:

*4 cups of flour

*2/3 cup of milk

*2/3 cup of warm water

*2 TBSP of yeast

*A pinch of baking powder

*A pinch of salt

*Dried Parsley

*Red Chilli flakes

*Savory

*About 3 TBSP of Olive Oil

*5 TBSP of Melted Butter

*A mixer or a hand that can mix for a long time :)

Step 2: Yeast and Water

First add the yeast and the water and mix them well. Make sure that the water is warm. Try to check the temperature so its about no more than 90-100 degrees fahrenheit. Not to hot and not to cold. If it is hot then it will kill the yeast and if it cold it wont activate the yeast. Leave the yeast for about 10 minutes. So be careful with this step. :)

Step 3: Combine the Ingredients

Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder (make sure it is very little). Then mix it very well. After that add the milk and yeast water. Then add only 3 TBSP of olive oil to the bowl.

Step 4: Mix

Mix all the ingredients very well. It will be hard to be honest. What I did was mix it in the mixer then I mixed it with my hands until a dough forms. Then when that is met cover it with plastic wrap until it doubles in size.

Step 5: Cut Into Peices

After it has doubled in size (about 1-2 hours, but you can keep it for however long you like) take it out slowly with changing the shape of it much and cut it into about equal sizes like you would do with a pizza.

Step 6: Roll Into Balls

After you have finished cutting it into pizza slices roll up all the individual pieces into little balls. Then cover with plastic wrap.

Step 7: Bake the Dough

Take one of the dough balls and roll them out then in a pan put some olive oil and put the dough on it. When you see little bubbles starting to form then you flip it to the other side. It is fairly easy. For the temperature what I did is I put it on medium at first then when I wanted to flip it I would change it to low then when I was putting it on the plate I turned it off so it wouldn't overheat. But you can do whatever temperature you want as long as it gets cooked.

Step 8: Butter and Spices

In a bowl melt the butter then add the red pepper (depending on how spicy you want it), parsley, and savory and mix well. (You can add extra spices you like to the mix if you would like). I put about 1.5 TBSP of red pepper, 2 TBSP of parsley, and 1 TBSP of savory. These are just what I put in the mix you can add whatever spices you want. Just note that there is no precise measurement for this step because it depends on how much butter you use and how much you need. :) Hope this makes sense!

Step 9: Finishing the Bread

With the butter and spices you just made apply it to the bread and spread it all over.

Step 10: Repeat

Repeat this process until you have finished all the little balls. Have fun with this step. As you make them you will do all you can to not eat them all. They smell and taste so good.

Step 11: Bon Appetit!

Hope you enjoy eating it more than you enjoyed making it! It is so easy and will take so little time! Make this dish and share the good taste of it!! Also instead of using this dough for flatbread it can be used as pizza dough (which I have done before) or just make one big flatbread! :)
